Welcome!
My goal is to present a different viewpoint, another way to look at life. For example, examine my map (at the bottom of the page). It’s a little strange. Why? Because it is upside down! But answer this, since when does a sphere have a right side up? The only reason we think that the world as displayed on the map is upside down is because somewhere along the way someone decided north was up. Why isn’t south up? It is merely a different perspective. This is purpose of my blog. I hope to turn your thinking upside down; or is upside down really right side up? Regardless, I hope to make you think, by presenting you with a different perspective on life.
This is how it is going to work. Once a week I will post an article on some hot topic, political, a news item, etc. Then you comment, giving me feedback, rather like editorials. I will read them and add my thoughts on your comments. Of course I ask that all comments are appropriate and never contain any offensive material. I am excited to hear favorable and unfavorable opinions on my articles. In addition to my weekly column, I will try to add something new several times a week. Perhaps a short thought of the day, a quote, you get the idea. Most of the articles I write, I will also send to the newspaper, for my ultimate dream is to have my own column in a published newspaper. Therefore if an article is starred or noted in some way you can rejoice with me for it means it was actually published. I hope you enjoy reading Your World Upside Down!

- I am not your average person. In fact I would argue that there are no average people. Yet, I may be beyond the normal abnormality. Merely 5’1” I am often overlooked, literally. Along with my below average height, I have red hair and many would argue that my personality matches it. My goal in life is to turn the world upside down. What I mean is this; people tend to accept whatever they are told, especially by the media. If the morning newspaper states it, far be it from anyone to contradict. It has come so far that people have forgotten to think for themselves, oftentimes because only one point of view has been displayed to them. Hence my blog.
